  • Company profile information you optionally enter (industry, certifications, B-BBEE level)
  • Bid generation history (which tenders you generated bids for)
  • Payment data — handled directly by PayPal; we never see card details
  • Anonymous usage analytics (page views, click patterns) for service improvement

3. How we use your information

  • To provide tender matching and AI bid generation
  • To process your one-time payments via PayPal
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, generation completed)
  • To improve service quality and detect abuse

4. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted processors required to operate the service: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Groq (AI text generation, no PII sent), PayPal (payments). All processors comply with international data protection standards.

5. Your POPIA rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data (where legally permitted)
  • Object to processing for marketing purposes

6. Data security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Database access is restricted by row-level security. Payments are processed exclusively through PayPal's secure servers. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or comply with SA law.

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies, only for session management (keeping you logged in) and preserving your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
